End the Stigma Part 2

Advocacy and Support- Uncategorized

Several months ago, I wanted to share the Autism3x story from how we were leveraging the TikTok platform to reach out to more viewers and advocate for families living with autism and other special needs. Now, we have over 20,500 followers on the platform. This is great to see how our family is sharing the story of three children (2 adult twins and a teen). We have our fair share of critics who judge the way you raise your child but many more that are encouraged by the story you share. I feel that in order to raise awareness we cannot hide at home or within our local community while other families are struggling to engage with other families that are experiencing the same circumstances.

April 2022 is Autism Awareness Month. We want to share our continued support for families in education and outreach to share our experiences with them, care givers, and other support professionals in the industry. Our efforts have sparked several initiatives I want to share.

Every parent I know has had experiences that can help other parents. Having a social platform and leveraging the platform to expand the reach is key. First stay focused on those you are serving (other parents or supporters of autism/special needs). There are several other niches that we will provide this month. This is an aggressive list of content to share but will be fun to share as well as on YouTube. We are just kicking off our YourTube channel and hope to see you there. Find Autism3x on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Autism3x.com.
